Mr. Segalini's practice focuses primarily on high exposure premises liability, construction and automobile cases as well as critical appellate matters.
A member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, he has been called upon to conduct seminars for claims personnel and share his experience and expertise in continuing legal education forums. Mr. Segalini is regularly selected to act as an arbitrator and mediator for complex civil cases by both plaintiff and defense counsel.
Mr. Segalini graduated from Boston College (1969), Suffolk University Law School (1972) and Boston University Law School (LLM, 1974).
Tom has tried over 150 Superior Court jury trials to verdict, impaneled over 200 juries, tried more than 200 District Court trials to verdict and settled more than 200 others during trial. He has conducted in excess of 100 arbitrations and administrative hearings and earned a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV® Preeminent™ 5.0 out of 5.
Mr. Neville’s practice involves complex litigation often involving 93A bad faith matters, coverage disputes, breach of warranty matters, construction, products liability and legal malpractice matters.
At the request of the Justices of the Suffolk County District Court System, Mr. Neville developed a program and acted as chair of a symposium to assist the Justices in understanding how attorneys and claims personnel evaluate civil cases. He has also given courses to insurance company claims personnel on bad faith settlement practices and served as a panel member and co-chair of “Ask the Expert” programs presented by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education regarding the trial of civil matters.
Mr. Neville graduated from Boston College (1966) and Boston University Law School (1969).
Robin is a partner at the law firm of Segalini, Neville & Maher, Waltham, Massachusetts where she has practiced civil defense litigation for thirty years.
Ms. Maher specializes in the area of general personal injury, including premises liability, construction and motor vehicle tort cases and has garnered extensive trial experience in both the Superior and District Courts of the Commonwealth. Additionally, she has successfully argued cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Through her many years of accomplished trial work, she prides herself on the personal attention that she gives to her clients and her cases.
Ms. Maher has vast experience evaluating cases, working with attorneys and adjusters toward amicable resolution and has frequently been invited by colleagues at the bar to independently participate in the alternative dispute resolution or trial of cases that they are litigating.
In 2007 at the request of the Justices of the Suffolk County District Court System, Ms. Maher assisted in developing a program and acted as panelist in a symposium to assist the Justices in understanding how attorneys and claims personnel evaluate civil cases. She has developed mock trial presentations for clients and has served as an expert panel member for various programs presented by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.
Ms. Maher graduated from the University of Michigan (1985) and Suffolk University Law School, cum laude. (1988).
Elaine has over 30 years of experience as a skilled litigator with extensive trial experience in Massachusetts District and Superior Courts. With a focus on civil defense litigation including extensive insurance defense experience as well as personal injury, products liability, premises liability, contract litigation, representation of excess insurers and management of litigation teams, Elaine excels at development and implementation of winning litigation strategies.
Her medical expertise as a registered nurse working in cardio thoracic and burn trauma intensive care units in leading Boston and New York City hospitals and instructing nurses in Intensive Care Unit practices and procedures gives her a unique and valuable perspective. Clients and major cases include work on behalf of the MBTA, The American Red Cross, numerous industry leading insurance companies and countless others.
Ms. Belle earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana and a JD at Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts (1988). She has been a registered nurse since 1980.
Of Counsel. Steve has practiced law in Massachusetts since 1977. He has tried over 50 District Court cases. His specialty lies in insurance coverage issues, discovery strategy, case preparation, alternative dispute resolution and appellate work. In Migliori vs. Airborne Freight Corporation, et al, Mr. Malone successfully argued before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court that a cause of action for negligent infliction of emotional distress should not be recognized for no-familial claimants.
Mr. Malone graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst cum laude (1971) and Suffolk University Law School (1976).
